the entrance isnt very inviting, but the reception staff couldn't be faulted and once we had been shown to the room which was only a 100 metres away from reception, it was like being in another world, big comfy bed and a excellent shower. sat outside the room with no noise apart from birds singing and butterflies everywhere, sunset brought the bats out, flying through the trees. walking around the complex, there are ponds full of fish. the complex itself is across the road from a longtail boat station, there's a taxi rank outside, turn right and walk for 10 minutes to landmark night market, turn left and walk for 5 minutes to another small night market and further on you'll come to the main drag opposite ao nang beach. found myself enjoying live music most nights in the rising sun bar. I've been to ao nang many times and stayed in different hotels each time but I won't be ignoring this place, I'll definitely be staying here again whenever I'm in the area. Can I give it 12 out of 10 for value for money and tranquility.

Great strategic location between 2 beaches, easily accessible on foot (5-20min depends on where you are going) as well as ca. 15 min walking to the Landmark night market, massage parlour and food/smoothie stall next door. It is right on the main road, but as soon as you go inside the territory, the noise disappears, leaving just the sounds of nature. We got a lovely single bungalow with a terrace. What I liked a lot is how nature incorporated into room design, with tree branches as hangers and the stones and shells for bathroom decoration. Bed was comfy, a/c and wifi worked just fine, hot water was present anytime we needed it. Every day we were provided with a fresh bottle of water per person. The ladies at the reception were all very friendly and attentive, help with all the questions, directions and also offer tour bookings with a significant discount. Would gladly stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Krabi Forest Homestay! The room is spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The hotel offer a laundry service which was much appreciated and also had a clothes drying rack in the bedroom. It isn't too much of a walk to Ao Nang centre (around 10 minutes) but far away from the bars; which meant that we could have a peaceful and quiet nights sleep. The staff went above and beyond during out stay. There were lots of tours to pick from, which staff were super helpful when choosing. We were given bottles of water each day, bedroom freshen up and the staff even gave us a complimentary Thai massage each! All in all, the perfect stay!

The staff and location of Krabi homestay was great! Beautiful, spotless clean rooms, icy cold a/c. Nice and quiet location, really great to stay off the main drag of Ao Nang. Although this place doesn’t offer resort style accommodation with a pool etc, I found I was even more comfortable tucked away and near everything you could need! The staff helped organise a private day trip for our family to Hong Island which turned out to be one of the best trips we had in Thailand. The breakfast had lots of options and was delicious and so filling! I would definitely stay again!!! Thank you!

Once we actually arrived, the staff were accommodating. They offered a voucher for Thai massage due to the huge mistake on their part regarding our reserved taxi. The facilities were decent, maybe a bit outdated but I did see they were working on some of the other rooms (possibly remodeling?). I do think they were trying to make up for the huge fiscal when we arrived at the airport. The hotel is quite even though in a busy nightlife area of town. The staff continued to be kind and apologized for the mess up.
